REGISTRATION OF AIRCRAFT IN THE BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY Guernsey does not have its own Registrar of Aircraft distinct from the U.K. Therefore, to register an aircraft, follow the guidelines and requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority of the U.K. and the Air Navigation Order 1995 by completing the Application for Registration of Aircraft or Change of Ownership form, available from the Civil Aviation Authority, with the appropriate fee. When completing the above mentioned form you will have to complete full details of the aircraft including type, specification, construction, current registration and current ownership and/or company ownership details. To be entitled to register the aircraft in the United Kingdom the person/body corporate must either be qualified by right of Her Majesty’s Government, a British or Commonwealth Citizen, Nationals of the European Economic Area State, a British Protected Person, a body incorporated in the United Kingdom or Commonwealth with its principle place of business being in the United Kingdom or Commonwealth or in accordance with the Law of a European Economic Area State with its administrator or principle place of business in the same area, a firm carrying on business in Scotland or an unqualified person residing or having a place of business in the United Kingdom.
